As Edinburgh glaziers with over 48 years in the glass industry, glass is very much our core business, we stock a full range of Pilkington, Saint Gobain and Barron Etched Glass, we are also the Scottish agents for Barron Glass. Our glass types range from the thinnest of picture glass to large exceptional custom-made and designed multi coloured beautiful panels.

At our premises, stock glass is cut to order or while you wait. We can clean cut, polish or bevel edges, glass can be toughened or laminated to be a safety glass for doors and low level glazing. Double, triple and quad glazing sealed units can be manufactured to almost any size.

We can either supply a Mirror of your choice or we can offer a service to supply and install Mirrors, our glaziers will come out to you and measure for your new Mirrors, from ordering it will usually take a short turnaround period, then we will return to install as required, this could be for any room in your home including the Kitchen area which would require a safety backing but not to be exposed to heat. For commercial properties we can offer Mirrors for security and privacy and decorative design for shops and hotels. Manifestations on Mirrors is a speciality of ours from our highly trained operatives giving you a bespoke style unique to you.

Splashbacks

splashbacks edinburgh Glass splashbacks make an attractive and contemporary addition to any kitchen. Our glass splashbacks are manufactured with a Pilkington toughened safety glass known as OptiWhite, which is a low iron glass that does not have a green edge tint, which regular float glass has. This makes the glass ideal for back painting allowing the true bright colour to show. This can be with any number of colours, including your own specified RAL colour code, our own range of colour codes, which include a large number of metallic and sparkle paint finishes. We can also apply paint to the splashbacks using our customers own paint, which will be a high quality gloss. Once this is installed, the glass will look entirely smooth and beautiful.

Splashbacks can also be installed as mirror, we have stocks of six various colours/tints and to be completely different we also have two variants of antique mirrors.

Splashbacks can also be manufactured in clear glass, clear glass should only be drilled and screwed when fixing to a surface. Of course this will make it removable. The same method can be used for all splashbacks, but if you require the true contemporary look, adhesive fixing will offer this with very clean smooth sight lines.

Balustrades

balustrades edinburgh The glass we use for our balustrades is either a toughened safety glass or a toughened/ laminated safety glass which conforms to the required safety regulations. There are options for the look of glass in your balustrade from our range which consist of Clear, Satin etched or tinted glass.

For customers guidance the building regulations dictate ground floor balustrades require a 12mm toughened safety glass and anything at height would be manufactured in a toughened/laminated safety glass.

The system we use is a versatile system which can be used internally or externally, it consists of an aluminium channel and glass infill with the added option of attaching a top rail. We can supply you with a variety of different sizes and shapes to accommodate any area compliant to building regulations, which you can customize to your needs.
